Lou has been on a rollercoaster of balancing pain against the side effects of pain relief. She has been plagued with increasing confusion but as the pain relief is now reducing she is less confused. It's great to see her out of bed today.

This week will bring some clarity. She has the results of another scan on Tuesday. And on Friday she has a procedure which will hopefully block pain messages to her brain....and if that works she may be able to lose the catheter.  She's suffering from understandable scanxiety today. We all have our fingers tightly crossed.
