Experimenting with darktable photo software for editing Olympus camera files, with mixed success. Suspect Olympus's own package, Olympus Workspace, is better in most regards, but darktable did seem better at recovering highlight details. Neither seem to be great at the embedding the IPTC information used to add tags/keywords along with copyright information which I regard as important - to keep track, and locate older photos, along with making others aware of the source, and helping deal with some of the periodic problems encountered with copyright infringement.
