Margaret Marrow's grave

31st December 1929, 71 children were killed at an incident at the Glen Cinema in Paisley. There was a false alarm that the building was on fire, the children attempted to get out, but the exit was locked and the children died in the crush against the locked door. No one was prosecuted. There is a section in the Hawkhead cemetery in Paisley where many of the children are buried.
