Alarmed

Today we had the necessary smoke and carbon monoxide alarms fitted ahead of the law in Scotland coming in to force.

The testing process deafened us as the units were tested to ensure the link between them worked so that they all go off if there is a problem.

I am under very strict instructions to not burn the toast in the morning - and I do like it carbonised!!
