Means What!

I always understood that ‘Mizzle’ was a combination of mist and drizzle, that fine persistent rain that gets you soaked through no matter what you are wearing.
Today however it was just ‘Mizzerable’, icy rain, strong winds, dark and gloomy but Paddy and I braved the elements for our walk.

We started the day at 5:00am when we all got up with Joshua to see him off on his journey north. He rang a couple of times during the day as he stopped to break the journey and finally rang some fifteen hours after leaving to say that he had arrived ok.

Meanwhile Paddy and I walked, we included the cemetery so he could have some time off the lead, the joy on his face as he takes off is infectious, you cannot help but smile. We met a few of the groundsmen who smiled as he raced around the grass and never mentioned the “Dogs Must Be Kept On Leads” signs.

An evening with the fire lit and Paddy wondering where Joshua has gone.
