Saturday: The Robin and Violets

Heavy rain woke me at 6am, went back to sleep and it was a few hours later when I got up.
Heavy rain all morning - MrD continued fixing the electric door mechanism on the garage, I provided cups of tea!
Rain had stopped by early afternoon but it was very cold. I had a quick half hour in the garden: cleared the path on the far side of the garage, noticed a little glimpse of purple and was thrilled to see the violets, The Robin was close at hand to supervise, naturally …
There is indeed a new series of “Father Brown” and I’ve watched a couple of episodes … strongly recommend … if it’s your kind of thing!
