Sunny memory

Cold, rainy, grey, dark here.  Went to cafe with a friend - the one round the corner whose cat I feed when she’s away. Her son is taking her to Rome for her 60th birthday at the end of this month. So exciting. I lent her my Rome guide book and then we chatted about things she might like to see.  I gave her my number one tourist tip for Rome, which is to walk on the riverside pathway (lungotevere) wherever possible, rather than through the streets. Here I am feeling pretty happy by the river Tiber in May 2014, eating fruit salad from a street stall. Those are not antennae growing out of my head though - they’re lampposts on the bridge:-)
