Swings and Roundabouts

Gordon and Katie at the Bleachingfield playpark. We headed along to get Gordon's thatch shorn and Katie's split-ends trimmed, pick some new library books and see if we could find some barbecue charcoal. Success on all counts! Just as well - this squint fringe is (literally) a bath-time hack by me! Much nicer now.

Gordon is not keen on haircuts so a compensation Beano was on the cards, but we couldn't find one. We had some chips from Adriano's Empire of Chips (they now own both Dunbar chip shops!) which were very good indeed. Too cold to eat outside, so a kitchen barbie dinner cooked outside was nearly as good.

Great to live in a small town for many things, including haircuts. £7 for a man and £6.50 for children. Since "I didn't do much" to Katie's, that's £11 for 2. Trim-tastic!
