Vegetarian day

Shopping this morning for some vegetables for our vegetarian meal tonight. It will be a tomato and aubergine tart.

If feel sure that everyone is familiar with aubergines. They are the purple egg-shaped fruit of a tropical Old World plant and a member of the Nightshade family. Called eggplants in UK and the same name is used some of the time in Australia.
