And not just the golfing enthusiasm seen above, it was a tad chilly, roughly 3ºC (feels like -2ºC) with a bit of a breeze. Didn’t seem to bother these intrepid chaps on Prestonfield though they were not for hanging about on the winter green.

My first circumlocution of Arthur’s Seat of the year, quite enjoyed it, a bit icy on the pavement but the road was fine and only 3 cycles spotted so it was easy to avoid them, ended up at Elm Row for my Friday BLT & Coffee (takeaway as it always is these days)
