The loch at its best …….

…… as a blanket of snow covered the trees, paths and large stones bordering the loch. It was a wonderful morning for a walk.

I only spotted two of the four lapwings that visit regularly over the winter. The Greylag geese were pecking about through the snow to the grass while the swans (all of them) were bottoms up as they searched for food in the water.
