E to woman at petrol station: ‘you can come to my house and see my new bookshelf.’
E to us when back in the car: ‘that woman deserves to have some fun.’

Good news for S this morning, and I was relieved and distracted enough that my usual excellent navigation skills went down the toilet, and I made three wrong turns in a sub-thirty minute trip. Scenic wrong turns though, including this one, with a little sheltered beach, mist over the Prom opposite, and beautiful views from the hills above. The whole area reminds me of Tassie. We’ve been looking at real estate all afternoon after getting home (you can dream, right?)… Excellent break.
