Baleful

On today’s walk we passed by this pile of baylage. It was the first cut from the hay paddock on a friend’s property. Now they are waiting for the contractors to arrive to cut the hay proper. It’s a bumper year.

A friend is staying for the weekend, so I may be quieter than usual.
