Beautiful sunny day, but we can't get rid of that cold wind.
So it is warming comfort food for tea.

Chicken and bacon casserole with crispy rosemary dumplings, and a bottle of Cotes du Rhone red wine!
Now warm to the tip of my toes!

Tomorrow we are going to a dinner and wine tasting at The Old Lodge Hotel in Malton.
We are taking two friends and meeting another 12 there.
Should be a good evening!
On the hotel web site it says;

" ......plenty of good food and wine, and an informal chat from Paul Tate Smith, our wine merchant, followed by a fun quiz at the end for any of you who can still operate a pencil!!!"
Very glad we are staying the night!!
