Bling on my birthday!

51 today! Had a marvellous day, went something like:

A very long tie with tea, toast and the papers.

Then up and had a kitchen disco where I played all my favourite songs pretty loud and danced around the place. The acoustics in this new house are great!

Opened my pressies and cards - loads of each. A Very lovely haul and such nice words from friends and family.

A dog walk in the woods in my new birthday wellies, where the sun actually came out to say ‘hi’.

Home to a big cook-up. Brunch with all the faves: bacon, black pudding, sliced haggis!

Off to bowling alley for a game. No strikes for me but eldest son is quite the player!We also played all the arcade games for an hour or so afterwards and all came home with prizes :)

To the Beijing Banquet buffet restaurant where we feasted! Blipped this shot of the OTT chandelier above us - Beijing bling!

Home to find more pressies on the doorstep!

Watched one of our fave shows on tv, ate birthday cake and drank sherry until midnight.

All in all a top day!
