The Driveway

They’ve got the driveway started at our new gaff. You don’t think it’s too formal, do you?

I think it’s actually the entrance to Orton Plantation. According to the net, the plantation house is one of the best preserved examples of ante-bellum architecture, but we’ll have to take that on faith. Apparently it is privately owned and not open to visitors. Given the history which surrounds plantations, I’m not sure how deprived I feel by being excluded.
