Judy Teen, The Queen Of The Scene

We're off to see Cabaret in London in a couple of weeks so have just watched Liza's original for a refresher.   Brilliant. 

In the afternoon, I also watched Judy.  Renee Zellwegger plays Judy Garland, Liza's mother.  It's based on the last few months of Judy's life when she was a resident at the Talk Of The Town in London.  The girl tasked with getting her on stage each night is played by Jessie Buckley who, in a tidy coincidence, is playing Sally Bowles in the theatre production.   Six degrees of separation.
