Seriously?

What driveway? The forecast was correct, and we got a good dump of snow that started late yesterday afternoon. It was over a foot in some places and at least 9 inches everywhere. Compare this with yesterday's blip taken at about the same time. It was raining when I went out and I tried to stay under the shelter of a tree to take this one.
So...it's raining and we have "buckets of rain" in the forecast, according to the noon hour news. Hopefully the rain and warmer temperatures will help get rid of some of the snow. We shovelled the bare minimum because the snow is so heavy, unlike the lighter snow earlier when it was much colder. I added two extras to compare the amount of snow in the garden, one taken this morning and the 2nd one on January 3. 
We don't have to go anywhere so we'll wait to see what happens with the rain and hopefully we won't have to shovel much and our road will get plowed. The third extra is of the road. I walked out to see if it had been plowed but it hasn't, and only the tracks of our neighbours who walk no matter the weather were leading up to the cars that were completely clear of snow yesterday. It wasn't easy to walk through the snow up to the road and I wouldn't be keen on walking further!  Good on them though.  :-)
