Waverley @75

2022 will be paddle steamer Waverley's 75th birthday. A fine set of 10 postcards showing the ship from 1947 -2009  have been provided by her present company to celebrate this, Waverley Steam Navigation Company Ltd., the present owners, bought her for £1 in 1974 from Caledonian Macbrayne . She started her life as a railway company steamer,  her home port being the now demolished North British/L.N.E.R pier at Craigendoran near Helensburgh on the Clyde.
