Abstract Thursday: "Root cause"

This being the first Thursday of the month, there's no theme for this week's abstract. I got in close to the roots of one of the the trees that was tipped over by storm Arwen, used a wide angle lens, set a slow shutter speed and spun the camera a little as I took the shot.
