Extra Time

These are bonus days, the extra days with Joshua that the four of us, five with Paddy, are enjoying. I’ve mentioned before that I have inkling that I know how my parents felt when I blithely walked out the door going back off leave, in fact my parents had it double fold with my brother in the Army.
He has a good life, is progressing well and is happy and that’s all that really matters, he knows his parents miss him and that’s ok as well.

So today, before the bad weather gets here, we took the opportunity to walk Paddy around Swanpool Lake again, time to be together as a family.

We are down to our last 18 mince pies, three quarters of the Christmas cake and assorted biscuits and chocolates. Paddy is finishing the turkey so we might soon be able to revert to more normal dining!
