Gifts from a blipper

Over the last year I have become blip friends with Diarised (Lee). I am always interested in what makes us 'follow' particular blippers but I know it was definitely our mutual love of crochet that initially attracted me to Lee's journal. In December Lee blipped her advent crochet blanket and I really liked watching it grow. On completion Lee decided she did not want to keep it and was looking for a new home for it. I offered to buy it for my expected grandchild but Lee very kindly gifted it instead. I collected it from the Post Office today and was delighted to find a mandala included for me as well. I have put it in an extra photo, I completed the purple one last year following Lee's link to the pattern for one she previously blipped! I will blip the blanket in it's full glory once my daughter has unwrapped it.
Went to the Food Bank this morning, as it was quiet I took the chance to clean the fridge and tidy the food room. Ironing this afternoon watching 'Christmas at Castle Howard' which I had recorded as we visited it in September 2021. It is a stunning house which was transformed into a Narnia inspired wonderland.
