Fading blooms

I bought these carnations before Christmas so they have done pretty well. 
What an awful dank day today, wet and windy. I have not been further than the garage. 
We had a double bed collected today for disposal. We realised it must be over 30 years old but has only been used for many years for occasional visitors. We still have another spare bed and some electric blow up beds so we aren’t without. I will miss the under bed storage though, there’s a lot to magic away, pillows, visitors’ towels, a large duvet and Christmas tree decorations which haven’t seen the light of day for a few years.
