Druimindarroch and Borrodale Beach

And possibly Blip 3000!

Also possibly the prettiest bog trot we’ve ever done.

Sheltered from the wind which has now turned to a cold northerly, we walked from an old boathouse, entered marshland and picked our way down a small peninsula to a very West Coast Of Scotland archipelago setting. The high mountains behind have gathered a very light dusting of snow and we’ve had good long stretches of sunshine lighting up the land and calm sea. Picturesque, calming and utterly uplifting.

We then headed over to Borrodale Beach, pebbly but a stunning foreground to the island scene beyond.

Meandering back with damp feet, we then headed to Mallaig to eat lunch overlooking the Isle of Skye. Our first proper view of the island.

We’re making the most of a beach on our doorstep so we came back for a cuppa and chill out before heading out for a sunset walk. The sun was doing semaphore through the clouds as it descended beneath the horizon. Quite spectacular.
