Eve of Kings' Day
Another nice day in our little staycation. We'd usually have our main holiday over Christmas and new year and be in Rio, but home in Barcelona has served us well again this year. Today is the eve of Kings' Day and so the festivities aren't over yet here. Nothing will go back to normal till Monday. Bb had a meeting this morning with our 'assessor' to get advice on something and then we met at Cafe Paris (Bar Paris?) and then went for a wander and ordered another little item for the house, which we've had our eye on for ages, but yesterday we decided. It'll no doubt be blipped in due course. Then to El Ninot food market to buy some bits and bobs and then had a lunch at a new place for us on Calle Rosselló. See Bb's blip if you're interested in what we ate. All very nice, informal, and a place to return to.
Home for a relaxing night and enjoyed watching The Woman in the Van with Maggie Smith. I had a feeling I'd seen it before, but I didn't remember quite a lot of it, if so! Maybe I've just seen trailers.
My blip is an inside out shot from where we had lunch. We managed to bag a little table next to the own door. It wasn't busy anyway - everyone else probably buying last minute Kings' Day presents!
