Strange clouds

We were threatened with thunder, lightning and torrential rain over the lake and our bay this afternoon, none of which eventuated, though the wind blew the surface of the lake into white caps for a while. An hour later these unusual cloud formations drifted across and before Mt Tarawera…perhaps the remnants of the promised front.
