Orange You Glad You're Not..

There is an app that tells pregnant women how big the growing-being in their body is each week. Last time I checked in with my prego friend it was the size of a plum.. Today's convo:

Me: "How big is Baby Love now?"
Friend: "Navel orange."
Me: "Yum."
Friend: "It feels weird to eat oranges now."

Fruit metaphors do have their down sides... Who is that mythological figure who eats her spawn?
