Ashridge
This is Ryan, on our afternoon adventure around Ashridge! Ashridge is a huuuge woodland area, about 15 minutes drive from where we live. The place is so massive that you never have to walk the same route twice, so there is lots to explore (lots of good photo op's, too).
We had an almost "tribal" moment, when we came across a herd of about 15 deer in the woods. There was a stare-off, where neither us nor the deer moved a muscle for a few minutes... that is, until Ryan decided to flank them and chase after them (hunter gatherer style) in an attempt to create the perfect photo of the deer running through a gap in the woods. Sadly, it didn't work.
Nicola, Hazel and I are going to bingo tonight. Watch out that we don't go too crazy on a Friday night ;). Looking forward to seeing them both though, with being away at Uni most of the time it's rare for all 3 of us to be together.
The sky is really overexposed in this photo, which annoys me. Need to work on that.
