Teenie Weenie Gecko

Please don't let this close up mislead you! This little guy is not much bigger than a match stick!

We noticed him in our downstairs lounge a few days ago and we were actually quite thrilled, because they eat the mosquitoes! But tonight we saw that he lost his tail! Poor wee thing, must have gotten a fright of some kind or another, because they really lose their tails when they get startled!

We had a biiiggg laugh a few weeks ago, when Lillian, our house girl, found a fully grown one in her handbag, without his tail, and on further inspection, she found the little tail in her bag as well!! Hahaha

Just thought you may find it interesting to see him without his tail!
