New Shelves, New Lamp, New Year

The photo shelves were a well chosen Christmas present from C, P, S, S & N. SiL's dad Pete put them up on the wall for me - huge thanks there. Now I need to rearrange the photos and change some frames..... The lamp I bought from John Lewis - approximately 23 different parts with assembly instructions in Swahili. Took me an age but it hasn't fallen apart yet. Fingers crossed. 

What you can't see in the blip of course is the semi taken down but not packed away, Christmas decorations. The outside Christmas Tree is still outside but unlit. Irritatingly I only discovered in the cold and dark that the bulb in the porch light has blown - a job for tomorrow.
