The big one

Well, one of the big ones. We picked three huge pumpkins from the garden this year, and today opened the first one. A quarter of it (2.5kg) made enough soup for a week. We clearly had a lot of pumpkin in our future. Echos of the great courgette glut of 2012…

In other news, work.

CarbBoy eased back into school with a Wednesday half day.

Now we are certified covid-free, TallGirl made cookies for the neighbour who looked after the hens.

Sunny day, I’m told. At least my lovely new stove makes the office a cheerier place!

I’ve got behind again, so will try and catch up with occasional backblips.
