Big Heids

This is the next in what is becoming an unintentional mini-series about the public art installations alongside the M8 motorway running between Glasgow and Edinburgh. This one stands at Eurocentral and for obvious reasons, is called the Big Heids. It's the creation of David Mach, a sculptor with a taste for larger than life installations. I always think they look like modernist versions of the famous Easter Island statues.
