Place of sanctuary

This is one of the beautiful windows in St Mary’s at Selborne, Hampshire. It was installed in 1920 to commemorate the bicentenary of Gilbert White’s birth. Incredibly there are 120 illustrations of birds in this window and it looked stunning today with the sunlight streaming through.
