Blackbird singing at 8 o'clock

This is our Bird Clock. There is a birdsong on the hour, and our favourite is the blackbird song at 8 o'clock. We had bought it for Mum, who loved bird spotting, after we had seen a US equivalent in a friend's house in Pittsburgh.

We really enjoy it. Our boys hate it - claim it interrupts them when they are talking. It is fun to gauge visitor reactions, who don't know about it - and they can't work out where the noise is coming from.
