Waiting to be pruned
I spent some of the morning doing our December finances; I still have the year-end ones to do; maybe tomorrow. Josephine has a puncture, it is likely that they will collect the wheel tomorrow and repair it in their garage.
Today’s picture is of what looks like one Leylandii tree, but is actually two. There will be a few more trees blipped between now and the 16 January, as the tree surgeons will be working on our trees and hedges from 17 January until the 21 January. I shall take a lot of “before” pictures the day before they arrive and then take more pictures as the work progresses. Once the trees and hedges are in order we will employ them once a year to keep them tidy; my husband is no longer able to do this work. We have not used this company before so I hope they will do a good job. The company we used many years ago have now gone our of business, but this local company uses some of their tree surgeons.
Noon Today - four degrees Celsius. Do not be fooled by the blue sky and white cloud in the picture, after a heavy frost this morning, it has been cold all day.
