A very successful shopping trip to Burton-on-Trent this morning. Both Lucy and Rob came back laden down with bags and happy faces all round. We were hoping to go to Pizza Hut for their buffet lunch but Lucy had agreed to do some overtime at work this afternoon so Pizza Hut on hold until next week. We had to make do with rolls from Subway :))

I popped over to the Nature Reserve after dropping Lucy at work but it's still very barren and quite muddy in places. Lots of feathers caught up in the grasses and brambles.....I liked this one, from a young gull maybe???

A quick spaghetti bolognese for dinner before football training and swimming club later!!

Just clicked on my 'last year' blip and by an amazing co-incidence we went shopping in Burton on this very day last year....considering that we only go about 3 times a year I find this quite spooky!!!
