The ice melted enough for me to drive into work. Good thing. More rain this evening but not right now. So far Nora’s flight has not been cancelled. Hope that lasts. Really look forward to seeing her. Too tired to start the book club book. I ordered it on google audio books but have resisted listening to it. Got to talk with my favorite co worker today. He told me how bizarre and frightening the homeless people are on his commute home. It has been so cold he says that the only people on the street are the ones who cannot stop using drugs so they cannot go to the shelters. I do not know if that is true. Seems like they would freeze to death out in the cold. A very sad situation.
