Tuesday: View From The 47th Floor

Back to work today which was a bit of a shock to the system.  I did tippy tippy away all day but can’t say that I got any great momentum going.  I did find myself idly calculating how long until retirement………a while yet, that’s for sure.

But, one positive about being back at work - the machinery has kicked in regarding our lack of water/heating/full toilet cisterns…….not with the letting agents, I might add, but with my main office in Ottawa whose name is actually on the lease.  By midday they had booked us a very nice downtown apartment in Yaletown for the next two weeks.  

Cue excuse for some downtown living photography.  It’s on the 47th floor and this is the view from the balcony.

We haven’t fully decamped there yet.  We dropped off some stuff tonight and will move there properly tomorrow.  Barney is coming too - I dread to think what he is going to make of small high rise living……….
