50 Shades of Grass
The first recorded use of grey as a colour name in the English language was in AD 700.
Grey comes from the Middle English grai or grei, from the Anglo-Saxon graeg, and is related to the German grau.
None of this has anything to do with todays blip which is best viewed large. So please press the L key on your key board.
