One Man (Training) His Dog
I bought a new (secondhand, 15-85mm) lens from the very amazing ffordes photographic shop, based in Beauly a few miles west of Inverness. The company was established in Kent in the 1970s and when the owner's son took over the business he relocated to the Highlands. One of the great benefits of new technology (and a proximity to courier companies) is that you can run your business from anywhere in the country.
I saw this bucolic sight in a field on the shore of Loch Ness, on the way back to our holiday cottage. The eager young collie was learning the ropes of herding from a flock of experienced ewes who weren't putting up with any nonsense.
