Guarding the new tree
Today we replanted a Scots pine in memory if my Father. It's one of my Mum's bonsai trees that I have been trying not to kill for many years.
There were two Scots pine which are downdue to the recent storm. It felt good to replace one and to have a memorial for Dad. The previous tree was planted down in the gorge and didn't survive. This one is on the edge ofnthe wood so stands a better chance.
The cute puppy look didn't last. We went to Bridge 49 cafe for lunch. We had to leave after quickly bolting our food. Barking does not aid digestion.
A challenge? She is that.
