Last card

I took the decorations down today and the Christmas cards. I like this one as it’s so unusual. Norm’s cousin sent it and it’s such an unlikely choice from him. He quite serious and lives alone but he’s a very nice man. 
I went to buy my neighbour some flowers to thank her and her husband for coming over on New Year’s Eve when the alarm went off. I completely forgot about my son’s dog being in the kitchen and set the alarm when we went to Pizza Express. The dog must have been asleep for ages and then woke up and set the alarm off. My neighbour phoned me while we were waiting for the bill so luckily we were home soon after. She had a bit of a surprise finding a dog in my kitchen, Luckily she a ‘dog person’ and the dog is a very friendly cockerpoo. We found out that the outside alarm doesn’t work and my neighbour heard it while walking past our house walking their dog. Norm phoned the alarm man but he can’t come yet because he’s got Covid. Oh dear, I’ve just realised this has turned into a saga. Sorry peeps if I’ve bored you rigid.
