Lines in the sand

This is the third site like this that I've found in the last few months. This was less than 4km from our house but I'd never been there. A pretty spot as long as the hail stayed away. It wwas one of those days when one minute all was well in the world and the next one was trapped in a mælström of whirling needles.
Passing a croft house on the way to the point where this image was taken, we ended up taking their dog for a walk too - he stayed much closer than Ruadh....
