Troops rounded up and assembled at the ferry terminal in Cairns for the first day of the wedding celebrations on Green Island.

All aboard and 45 minutes later, white sand, turquoise waters, coral reef and cool, boardwalk connected suites and we are all settled in for five days.
At 4.30pm when the final boat leaves the island carrying all the day trippers back to Cairns all who remain are those staying on the island.

Swimming with the fish at feeding time, a torchlit forest walk and sundowner drinks were the treats for the evening.
