Not Warm

According to the thermometer in the car it was only -2C but the wind made it a lot colder (it was a nightmare scraping the car)
2 hours after starting my deliveries there was still frost covering half the car bonnet and all of the roof despite the clear blue skies....despite it claiming to be +2C.
Driving was 'interesting' in places. There was not a grain of salt had been put down on any road I was on despite all the warning that there have been about the cold weather (and non existent snow). Obviously the Council can't sent workers out on a public holiday.
The road here was a lot more challenging than it looks - especially after the tree cover ended and the bends started. (there are pretty frost on windscreen shots after that)

This afternoon I went out to put an item in the post (after weighing it and measuring the thickness with vernier calipers to make sure it was within the 'large letter' category).
SWMBO also wanted to buy some of her favourite flavoured chocolates while they were on special offer. That meant going into the living hell that is The Centre...........
I am going to start taking a walking pole with me to keep the plague carriers who refuse to wear a mask properly away from me. I think I will have to complain to the management about the fact that they and the security are failing in their duty of care to me or complying with the law by stopping the non mask wearers entering the place.
