The Last of the Year

The last day of the year, but Santa’s still holding in there…

Oh, and it’s Top Ten time. Lots of good music this year, on record, that is, if not in the actual venues. At least there was a live music window of opportunity during which I was able to top up with a fine twofer from Nick Cave and Warren Ellis and, of all people, the Primitives – though I was slightly gutted to miss John Murry at the Old Cold Store in November because I was isolating with the COVID…! Anyway, there are twelve, because I couldn’t be bothered to narrow it down – and I didn’t even listen to the last one until today…!
