Spent 2 hours at the opticians this morning for a post operative check and eye test. They were extremely thorough- a good thing of course but I hadn’t anticipated having so much taken out of my day. Anyway all is at it should be and new glasses were ordered and trial contact lens issued to see what the best combination of near and far vision is. I don’t really need a lens in my right eye now to correct short sightedness but it could be that a low prescription multi focal one will mean that I can read price labels etc without having to put reading glasses on . Hope so! My plans for the rest of the day ( end of year review etc of all my financial stuff and then driving to ikea) were scuppered as my pupils were very dilated and a bit sore until early evening.
