Winter Wonderland

I will admit that it's pretty, but really - must we? We had about six inches of heavy wet snow today. Every time I went out to put more birdseed here and there I could hear branches snapping. Our front yard is littered with branches (some of them quite good sized) from the big old maple.

And tonight it's supposed to get down to 15 degrees (F) - so it'll all still be stuck to the trees in the morning.
