Cake mix

The early stages of one of my occasional efforts at baking a cake. This one was a lemon drizzle cake; when it had baked it was very reluctant to come out of the tin and my rudimentary approach of turning the tin upside down and banging it on the board only caused the cake to break up a bit. Thus it didn't come with us on a visit to some friends as intended, but nonetheless it was very tasty, if not exactly Great British Bake Off material. In my defence I would point out that the recipe advised lining the tin with baking parchment, but we didn't have any - maybe next time...
