Winter stroll

I walk down this canal several times a week with my dog, Milo - a year ago today it was a beautiful cold crisp misty morning with steam rising off the surface of the water and the early morning fog gradually lifting - magical -just me and milo :) it popped up on my fb page today and reminded me of that day. Today it was unremarkable in the sense that there was no beautiful early morning light, no gorgeous reflections , autumn colours or crunchy leaves, no bluebells or kingfisher darting down ahead of me but In contrast I was with 3 friends and we were recounting our favourite christmas jokes and just catching up and enjoying time together . As a ‘photographer’ I love having time to myself to go and explore new places and take pictures and would love more time to do this but friends are soo important to me too and I feel lucky to have some really good ones :)
